MS EnE Status: Completed!
Chito recently posted on Facebook a collage showing my yearbook photos along with a photo of me with the members of my oral thesis defense panel and a screenshot of my grades in graduate school.
I am truly happy to have a husband who is very supportive of what I do and is super proud of what I have achieved, including the recent completion of my Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering (MS EnE) from UP Diliman.
SEA Hardhat, the official student publication of the School of Engineering and Architecture of the Ateneo de Davao University, also posted the collage on Twitter.
A lot of family members and friends dropped comments or clicked the Like, Love or Wow buttons on Facebook. Several old students tweeted to congratulate and welcome me back to the SEA community. Since it was my first day back at work yesterday, colleagues and students I met inside the campus also greeted me.
I was overwhelmed by the number of people who shared with me the joy of having completed my MS degree with good grades. Apart from saying “Thank you!” and “Daghang salamat!” to everyone who congratulated me and asked me how I was able to achieve an overall GWA of 1.00 at UP Diliman, I can only tell them that it was all by God’s grace and also all for His glory. Because it truly is.
It has been a week since we’re back home. As we start a new and promise-filled season here in Davao, I am filled with praise and gratitude for the Lord for His grace and provision (wisdom, support systems, finances and more). Amazing ka, Lord!
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
